MGM HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL Hathital, Jabalpur
M.G.M. (Mar Gregorios Memorial) Higher Secondary School, Hathital, Jabalpur, M.P, is one of the best English Medium Co-Education Institution managed by MGO Church Society Hathital under the aegis of the Calcutta Diocesan Council of the Indian Orthodox Church. Late Lamented His Grace Dr. Stephanos Mar Theodosius, an eminent educationist was the Founder President of this school. Rev. Fr. D. Alexander was the founder principal of this institution. This Institution was established in the year 1978 with only Kindergarten section. It then grew from the tiny seed to gigantic tree. H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius is the current President of the school. We have thirty two distinct educational institutions spread in various States from Maharashtra to Arunachal Pradesh. At present the school campus accommodates a primary wing and a secondary wing functioning from Classes Nursery to XII with an approximate strength of above 1700 students. We have the privilege to state that the school is graced to have professionally qualified, dedicated and experienced teaching staffs fitting into the aspirations and expectations of the students and their parents. The school is affiliated to the ICSE Board, New Delhi.
The school is Eco-friendly campus and is having well-furnished class rooms, well equipped modern science laboratories, two computer labs, sprawling well stocked libraries, multipurpose hall, internet connection with broad band facility.
The school was initially affiliated to the M.P Board and was among the top schools of the city. The first Batch of Gregorians of class X passed out the ICSE Board Examination in the year 2006-07 and class XII in the year 2008-09. Since then the School has made exemplary strides in the field of education and figured prominent among schools of Jabalpur. The school is having four houses with round the clock activities and projects. The school also has an excellent ICSE X and XII results every year.
The aim of our school is to well – equip the children with the moral values and advanced modern education and advanced thinking in all sphere of knowledge with a view of developing their all-round personality so that it may be useful for them and the society, fulfilling their noble role in life.
