General Rules

GUIDELINES AND CODE OF CONDUCT
  1. Pupil must be in the School Premises 10 minutes before the bell. Late comers should get the late attendance record signed by their parents.
  2. MOBILE PHONE IS STRICTLY BANNED IN THE SCHOOL.
  3. The first bell in the morning is a signal for the Assembly. Students are expected to assemble in silence and get ready for the Morning Prayer.
  4. Every pupil shall attend the class regularly and punctually in school uniform. Pupils are expected to be clean and tidy in their person, dress and belongings.
  5. Those that come late for Assembly will be given three warning notices. It is the duty of the parents, guardians to sign the notice and take action.
  6. Only English should be spoken in the school premises to acquire greater facility in the study of the language.
  7. Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct are expected from the pupil. Every pupil is urged to contribute to the high moral and spiritual standards set for the school by his/her manner and conduct.
  8. It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks and on other properties of the school.  Students must refrain from damaging any form of school property. The school reserves the right to be compensated by the student for any such damage, even by accident.
  9. Students are strictly forbidden to bring valuable articles or any sort of objectionable literature to the school and to purchase any article of food from unauthorized dealers at or near the School premises.
  10. No pupil suffering from a contagious or infectious disease shall be allowed to attend school.
  11. No pupil may absent himself/herself from school without leave and no leave will be granted except on a written application from parents or guardians and that too only for genuine reasons.
  12. When a pupil returns to school after being absent, he/she must bring a note from his / her parents or guardians explaining his/ her absence.
  13. Entries in the diary must be countersigned by the parents or guardians wherever necessary. In case of longer illness, viz. lasting more than three days, the Principal should be informed.
  14. Pupils who are absent for more than a calendar month without leave will be struck off the rolls.
  15. The school reserves the right to dismiss pupil on ground of irregular attendance, habitual lack of application, disobedience, behaviour not in keeping with the good tone of the school inside the premises or elsewhere.

RECOMMENDATION TO PARENTS
  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking a daily interest in their Children's progress.
  2. Parents should check the diary and sign it everyday.
  3. Parents who seek information or wish to make some complaint should do so to the Principal and not to the class teacher.
  4. Parents/Guardians are requested not to meet their children or approach the teachers during class hours without prior permission from the principal. Any business must be transacted with the Principal.
  5. Parents/Guardians must meet the respective class teacher at the time of intervals to know about the child's progress.
  6. Parents / Guardians are requested to see the children, if boys, come to school with their hair properly cut. No boy with long hair will be allowed in the class.
  7. For breach of rules pupil may be fined/ suspended at the discretion of the Principal.
  8. A record of addresses of the Parents or Guardians is maintained in the School Office. Any change of address should be communicated without delay.
  9. Parents are specially requested to read the rules carefully and see that they are followed.

EXAMINATION
  1. It is compulsory for pupils of all classes to appear for the exams conducted by the School.
  2. No arrangements will be made for holding special examination for absentees before or after the time fixed for the examination.
  3. Pupils who are absent for examination without grave reason will be considered failed.
  4. No child will be allowed to do the annual examination if, she/he does not have the required attendance i.e. 80%.
  5. Progress report showing the performance of the pupil and their results will be shown to the parents after every school examination. Parents / Guardians are requested to examine the Progress Reports carefully and see that their children / wards make special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak.

FEE RULES
  1. School fees are fixed by the management and are subject to revision if found necessary without any notice.
  2. Fees will be collected at School Fees Counter.
  3. No deduction is made for the absence of children during holiday or for broken periods owing to sickness misfortune, negligence etc.
  4. School fee are charged for 10 months of the year. It is divided into 12 installments for the convenience of parents.
  5. Receipt is issued for every payment made and parents are requested to make sure that they receive the receipt. Duplicate receipt will not be issued. Fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstance.
  6. No pupil will be permitted to attend the class at the beginning of a term without clearing the dues.
